Ten Sex Postions Basics

1. The butterfly position or modified missionary

“With the woman on her back and her hips on the edge of the bed, the man penetrates her while standing. She then puts her legs over his shoulders and tilts her hips slightly upward. This gives a wonderful angle for cervical stimulation, with deep penetration that can produce some intense vaginal and uterine orgasms. With more shallow penetration, a man can stimulate the anterior vaginal wall to hit the G-spot.”

2. Modified coital alignment technique

“A couple starts off in missionary position. Once a man penetrates a woman deeply, he allows her to bring her legs together between his. He then shifts his weight slightly forward so that the shaft of his erection is producing firm pressure and friction on her clitoris as he moves. This works very well for women that prefer to have clitoral stimulation during penetration to reach a very powerful orgasm.”

3. Baring the scepter

“Either partner can perform this technique, although the bottom person’s hands may be more able to pull it off. Form a ring with thumb and forefinger around the base of the penis. Then pull down so the skin on the shaft is taut. This exposes more nerve endings and increases the penis’ sensitivity. It can also help maintain his erection. Engage in intercourse with your hand still encircling the base to send his pleasure soaring.”

4. The countertop

“This is my favorite. It’s when the woman is lying on her back on the counter or table while he enters standing. It’s rough. There’s pushing aside of papers, pepper shakers, which add to the sense of urgency and inappropriateness. It’s easy to maneuver and move the woman to slide along the counter. There is still contact. He goes deep and feels in control. It works all the way around. The keys are clothing, stuff in the way and being in an open space. Still allows for connection while feeling dirty. It just works on so many levels. It’s not about acrobats. It’s about context.”

5. The seated scissors

“This position allows the woman to have the control in order to determine the depth and angle of penetration as well as how much clitoral stimulation she gets. With the man lying flat on his back and his knees bent, she straddles him with one leg to the side of his hip and the other leg between his legs. The woman can then find just the right spot to grind against his pubic bone with him inside her. She controls the pace, the depth and the amount of pressure and friction she receives. This is definitely a prescription for mind-blowing sex!”

6. Get off, stand up

“I’m no [pro], but whenever I’ve had sex standing up and holding my partner in the air or up against the wall, it’s been mind-blowing for both of us. I suspect it taps into some of our innate gender differences — the strong man and the small woman — which in turn heightens the sexual experience. It also forces us to be in a full embrace, which furthers the emotional connection as well as our physical one. It’s physically demanding and not for all couples, but for those that can, it’s highly recommended.”

7. Uncloaking the clit

“Given a woman’s clitoris is buried under the clitoral hood and cushiony mons pubis surrounding it, it’s no wonder this tiny nub rarely receives enough stimulation during intercourse to catch the O train. Your hands, though, can help change that. Form a V with your index and middle fingers, and point your fingers toward your feet. Press this V onto the mons pubis, with a finger to each side of the clitoris. Then pull up, moving the skin with your hand. This should unveil the hard-to-reach clit in all its glory, exposing this little love button to a lot more action.”

8. Shake ‘n’ bake

“If you’re craving a quick but stimulating break from intercourse, this move is the perfect titillating timeout. To do it, the man withdraws and rests the tip of his penis on the clitoris. Then, hold the base of the penis, and shake it quickly from side to side so that the head hits the clitoris with every wiggle. In doing so, you’ll be stimulating both heads at once — that of the clitoris and the penis — which should send you both into paroxysms of pleasure.”

9. Pushing tush

“If your guy enjoys having his back door explored, reach around with both hands, and grab both cheeks. From there, you can do ‘butt yoga’ (a technique whereby you spread the cheeks apart, then together, one up one down, then vice versa) or ‘anal yoga’ (a technique whereby you place your middle fingers to the sides of the anus, then spread them apart, then diagonally, then up and down). If that gets him hankering for more, feel free to delve deeper.”

10. Happy scissors

“Heating up hot spots aren’t your hands-only talents. They’re also great at moving body parts where you want them, and this technique is a prime opportunity. During intercourse, raise your legs, then have your man hold an ankle in each hand. From there, you can spread her legs apart, hold them together, part them at 80 degrees — the options are endless. And since the tendons of the legs pivot deep in the pelvic cavity, moving them around will subtly alter the below-the-belt sensations for you both. Talk about getting a leg up on a little variety!”

Zulay Henao Interview

RUNWAY magazine 2016 shoot in Hollywood

You looked great today. Did you have fun?

Thank you, yes I had a blast, it was an intimate space with so many creative pieces to pick from, and who doesn’t have a good time getting glammed up? Thank you for having me! 🙂

Who is your favorite designer?

I am not one for “favorites,” I feel there are so many designers that speak to me in different ways. I really love OTT right now; I love their eccentric, colorful pieces. But Oscar De la Renta is one of my all time classic favorites, unparalleled elegance.

What is your personal style like?

I am both of the things I described with the designers I mentioned. I really love a casual chic, but also an elegant polished look.

How do you feel about shoes? Do you have any favorite brands?

I of course love a sexy Louboutin heel -but recently have really been loving Gianvito Rossi. He does a really sleek and feminine heel that you can dress up or have a casual day in.

Tell us more about your role in “True Memoirs of an International Assassin.”

OH I can’t wait for you guys to see this! My character is Rosa, and she is a badass DEA agent who is on a solo mission to save her country from the corrupt politicians who are running it, alongside a very unlikely partner, Sam, (played by Kevin James). It is a fun, action packed comedy also starring Andy Garcia. We premiere in November on NETFLIX – 🙂

You were also on OWN’s #1 rated drama “If Loving You Is Wrong”, what was that like?

My experience with Tyler [Perry] and Oprah has been nothing short of amazing- it’s been a growing and learning experience. Our show is a lot of fun and it just gets better because my cast mates and I are now really close and just have a blast.

What kind of music do you listen too?

Right now I am listening to Jill Scott on Pandora; she’s definitely one of my favorite artists. Music is a transformative art form. I can listen to Jill, Drake, Alabama Shakes, and Chopin all in one day– I love it all.

What do you like to do for fun?

Fun for me involves so many different things it’s such a big exciting world. I love to travel and just got back from Italy and Austria, and now planning a trip to Maui. I really enjoy the beach; it soothes me, puts me at ease, and grounds me with the bigger picture of life. Fun is dinner with friends, wine tasting, paddle boarding, painting, and learning to use my new camera.

What’s in the future for you? Do you have any exciting news you want to share?

I am currently working on creating my production company. My brother and I came up with a very solid and timely idea, as we are dealing with a love story surrounded by a lot of social injustice issues. I am putting my producer hat on, seeing what life is like behind the camera. I think is the natural progression. But, the future also involves starting a family and doing more traveling!

New Years Eve Fashion Guide 2017

Formal

If you’re attending a formal event it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed. For women, a floor length or midi dress will have you ready to impress. A long maxi dress in velvet is flattering for anyone looking to accentuate an hourglass figure while still looking polished. Try a burgundy maxi dress with gold heels and accessories to look like the belle of the ball. For a more laid back formal event or dinner, try a champagne colored midi tulle skirt with a long sleeve shirt, statement heels and bold necklace. This look is flattering on all body types, especially for apple and pear-shaped bodies.

For the gentlemen out there, a tuxedo is always a good idea for a black tie event. To really make a statement, switch up your normal black suit jacket for a velvet sport coat. Keep the black tuxedo pants, white button up, black dress shoes, add a bow tie and you have achieved the perfect NYE look.

Semi-Formal

If you plan on painting the town red for New Year’s Eve, ladies will wow in a textured gold cocktail dress. A black leather jacket, above the knee black boots and silver statement earrings will keep this cocktail dress on trend! For added warmth you can add black tights under the dress.

Another great option for cocktail attire is a jumpsuit. Choose an all black one to create a slimming effect with a wrap v-neck, cold shoulder and cinched waste. For additional comfort, pair with bright flats or thick heeled shoes, a statement belt, dangling earrings and mismatched rings in a metallic of your choice.

The well-dressed man can feel at ease with a suit jacket, button up, slacks and dress shoes. If you have a more laid back style but still need to follow a dress code try a prohibition era look. A monochrome ensemble with black suit pants, white button up, black dress shoes, black or white tie and black and white suspenders will give you just the look you need to get some heads turning in your direction.

Casual

Sometimes the best time way to ring in the new year is at home with friends and family. Having a little get together doesn’t mean you have to show up in your pajamas though! Shine bright in an ivory silk bodysuit layered with a lace cami underneath. Pair with black tailored pants, pointed toe shoes and a statement necklace.

As for the fellas, try a nice pair of jeans or khaki slacks, a white button up shirt and a light sweater on top. To complete the look, style with a silver or leather brown watch and brown leather Oxfords.

Kira Kosarin Interview

The summer is full of excitement and fun and Kira Kosarin is the life of the Party here at RUNWAY.

Welcome Kira to the News Desk at RUNWAY,

Did you have fun today on the photo shoot?

I had the best time. Rocky Gathercole is such an incredible designer and his work couldn’t be more my style, so getting to wear his pieces was really amazing. I loved the energy of the whole shoot.

You are an amazing dancer, how did you get started?

Thank you! My mom was an SAB (School of American Ballet) trained ballerina before dancing on Broadway for many years, so she exposed me to dance when I was very young. I fell in love with all styles of dance as a little kid and started studying ballet seriously at age 8. It’s still one of my greatest passions in life.

What was it like growing up with parents who were Broadway Performers?

If was really wonderful. My house has always been filled with music, and growing up with that constant creativity around me was great. It was also great to have parents who had seen and worked with so many child actors and knew how hard it was to work full time as a young kid; they encouraged me to wait, go through school, and grow up before attempting to start a career. I’m so grateful for that.

What fashion are you wearing this summer?

I generally like to dress in very chic, simple, monochromatic outfits, but this summer I’m playing a lot with fun color and pattern. I feel like the hot summer days are a perfect excuse to shake things up a bit!

What are your favorite accessories?

I’ve loving the 90s-inspired accessories that have been coming back around lately. Right now I’m very into the fact that chokers are back. They add a little bit of a cool, retro, edgy feel to pretty much anything, which I love.

What trends do you think will be hot for Fall?

I would love to see this whole movement of female empowerment be expressed in women’s fashion. Strong, menswear-inspired garments balanced with feminine silhouettes are always really interesting to me.

Tell us about your show “The Thundermans”, what your favorite part of the show.

The Thundermans follows a family of retired superheroes hiding in suburbia and trying to make their way through life. I love that it’s a silly, fun, action-packed show, but it also takes the time to ground in reality and focus on the real issues that kids and teens face every day.

We heard you guest stared on “School of Rock”, who that go?

I did! It was fun. I got to play the antagonist, which was really cool change given that I’ve been playing a superhero for a few years.

Any red carpet events coming up?

Always! Right now I’m planning my outfit for the Kid’s Choice Sports awards. We’re trying to find a fun balance between sporty and glam. Stay tuned!

Do you have any pets?

I do! My long-haired chihuahua/terrier mix Delilah. We rescued her a little over a year ago and she’s a part of the family. I love her like crazy.

What are your plans for the rest of 2016?

I’ll be working on Season Four of The Thundermans through the end of the Fall, then I’m planning to hopefully to some family travel to South East Asia. My parents and I don’t have a lot of time to travel together, so we want to take advantage of my time off and explore the world as much as possible. I can’t wait.

Transcending Boundaries London

On 25th January 2017 ‘Transcending Boundaries’ an exhibition of new works by Tokyo-based ultra-technologists teamLab at Pace London, 6 Burlington Gardens will open.

teamLab (f. 2001, Tokyo, by Toshiyuki Inoko) is an interdisciplinary group of artists whose collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, technology, design, and the natural world.

The exhibition will explore the role of digital technology in transcending the physical and conceptual boundaries that exist between different artworks, with imagery from one work breaking free of the frame and entering the space of another. The installations also dissolve distinctions between artwork and exhibition space, and involve the viewer through interactivity.

See their 2016 work, Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers here:

The installation entitled Wander through the Crystal Universe (pictured) is housed in the largest space – a 20m x 20m x 4m room that makes guests feel like they’re inside a futuristic pointillist painting

Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers (pictured) is just as dreamy as it sounds. Vibrant 3D flowers are projected onto the walls, floor and ceiling and move celestially, recalling shooting stars in a planetarium.

Perhaps most beautiful of all is the installation called Drawing on the Water Surface, where virtual koi carp swim in a physical pool of water.

After the intensity of this ultra-technologist experience, guests can relax in a room which is primitive in contrast. Within this Soft Black Hole, walls, floors and ceilings are swallowed by darkness, and visitors are invited to lollop on a black, billowing pillow of air.

It’s quite easy to leave your mind behind amid the make-believe ‘World of Wonders’, where time, space and worry are dropped, and imagination roams free.

TeamLab’s digital masterpieces impress at a theatrical, interactive showcase called ‘DMM Planets: World of Wonders’ in Tokyo’s Odaiba district.

Having impressed at Pace Gallery’s stand at this year’s Hong Kong Art Basel, digital art pioneer TeamLab has transformed a cavernous warehouse location in Odaiba, Japan, for its newest offering, ‘DMM Planets: World of Wonders’, which ushers in an exciting new age for interactive art.

The space has been filled with four mesmerising lightworks that guests can explore uninhibited, interacting with them from an app on their smartphones. The first and largest piece, Wander through the Crystal Universe, is housed in a 20m x 20m x 4m room that makes guests feel like they’ve walked into a futuristic pointillist painting. Tiny LED lights are suspended on slim wire droplets. Each one relates and reacts to the next, so when viewed together, they give the impression of a singular, unified organism; or perhaps more accurately, a perfectly synchronised shoal of fish.

The ‘World of Wonder’ continues in a domed space called Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers, which is as dreamy as it sounds. Here, vibrant 3D flowers are projected onto the walls, floor and ceiling and move celestially, recalling shooting stars in a planetarium. Like magic, visitors can use their smartphones to release a white-light butterfly into the air, and watch it flutter away through the blooming constellations.

Perhaps most beautiful of all is the installation called Drawing on the Water Surface, where virtual koi carp swim in a physical pool of water. Visitors wade through, and as their legs brush against the computerised Koi, the fish burst into drifting spirals of flowers.

Crucially, none of the works are run on loops, scheduled animations or pre-determined algorithms. As such, each is indelibly altered by the people who move within them. ‘Previous visual states can never be replicated, and will never reoccur,’ TeamLab reassures us, which puts the art entirely at the mercy of the viewer. Quite a responsibility. After the intensity of this ultra-technologist experience, guests can relax in a room which is welcomingly primitive in contrast. Within this Soft Black Hole, walls, floors and ceilings are swallowed by darkness, and visitors are invited to lollop on a black, billowing pillow of air. As one person collapses, another is lifted up from the weight, and a buoyant balancing act begins.

Outside on solid ground, real-world Japan takes some adjusting to. It’s quite easy to leave your mind behind amid the make-believe ‘World of Wonders’, where time, space and worry are dropped, and imagination roams free.

Princess Diana Fashion Exhibition to Open in 2017

It’s shaping up to be a year of aristo wardrobes on display. Kensington Palace plans to examine Princess Diana’s style with a big show set for February, marking 20 years since the royal’s death in 1997.

The announcement of “Diana: Her Fashion Story” follows the news that Chatsworth plans to showcase 500 years of fashion, textile and clothing from the archives of the Dukes of Devonshire with an exhibition scheduled for March.

Kensington Palace, Diana’s former home, will host the two-year show that aims to trace the evolution of her style, from the more romantic outfits of her first public appearances to the glamorous ones she embraced in later life as she became ever more confident about her style and friends her favorite designers included Gianni Versace and Bruce Oldfield.

The Estée Lauder Cos., a longtime supporter of programs at Kensington Palace, is the show’s sponsor.

“Everything Diana wore was closely scrutinized, and the exhibition will explore how she navigated her unique position in the public eye: Learning to use her image to engage and inspire people, and to champion the causes she cared about,” organizers said.

Pieces to be displayed include evening gowns worn on engagements in the Eighties, along with the Catherine Walker suits that made up Diana’s working wardrobe in the Nineties.

The palace said the princess’ relationship with her favorite designers will be explored through a display of some of their original fashion sketches, created for her during the design process.

On show will be the pale pink Emanuel blouse worn for Diana’s engagement portrait by Lord Snowdon in 1981, and Victor Edelstein’s ink blue velvet gown, which Diana wore when she danced with John Travolta at the White House.

A blue tartan Emanuel suit, worn for an official visit to Venice in the Eighties, will go on display in public for the first time. The suit, a rare example of the princess’ daywear, was only recently rediscovered and acquired by Historic Royal Palaces, the charity responsible for Kensington Palace, at auction.

The show will open on Feb. 24.

Inside the new Trump DC Hotel

When John F. Kennedy was inaugurated more than fifty years ago, he recognized the potential and the need for the two miles of Pennsylvania Avenue connecting the U.S. Capitol to the White House to become “Grand, The Main Street of America.”  Today, thanks largely to the work of the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation, Pennsylvania Avenue bears little resemblance to what Kennedy saw, and still the development continues.  In the 2000’s, attention became focused on the iconic landmark, the Washington, D.C. Old Post Office.  Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, planners struggled as to what its future should be. Ultimately it was decided that with its location in the city’s center and proximity to both the White House and the U.S. Capitol the Old Post Office deserved to be restored to its former architectural grandeur and be re-born as arguably the city’s most luxurious hotel, worthy of hosting heads of state, celebrities, dignitaries and well-heeled business and leisure travelers.

1473262669364In 2013, after reviewing and vetting numerous proposals from the most prestigious hotel companies in the world, Trump Hotels was chosen by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to be the developer of this most sought-after hotel redevelopment opportunity in the country. Seen as a generational asset by the Trump family, the new hotel anchors the Northwest end of the Pennsylvania Avenue redevelopment and has undergone an extensive $200 million restoration to become the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C.

“WHEN COMPLETED, THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE FINEST HOTELS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. THE BUILDING ITSELF, WHICH IS TOTALLY IRREPLACEABLE, IS GOING TO BE BROUGHT BACK TO FAR BEYOND ITS ORIGINAL GRANDEUR.” -DONALD J. TRUMP

The Old Post Office, the city’s original postal center, has endured a series of uses throughout the years. Opened in 1899, it included a Clock Tower, which at 315 feet, remains the second tallest building in the city and provides panoramic views of Washington, D.C. In 1976, The Bells of Congress, replicas of those at London’s Westminster Abbey, were given to the United States as a Bicentennial gift from the Ditchley Foundation in England, and are housed in the Tower. When the National Park Service reopens the Clock Tower in the coming months the bells will again ring on Federal Holidays, Days of National Mourning, the Opening and Closing of Congress, and Thursday nights for practice.

Guests arrive at the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C  from the main entrance on 11th Street.  Creating a stunning arrival experience, the entry features materials such as backlit marble and limited mullion glass with a steel and glass porte cochere cantilevering in both directions.

Inside the heart of the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C is the Grand Lobby, a soaring nine-story atrium which functions as the hotel’s main gathering place and the location of the Benjamin Bar and Lounge. The Grand Lobby is furnished in rich jewel tones and gold accents and is elegantly finished with hand-woven area rugs, soaring brass fixtures and crystal chandeliers. Prominently located on the mezzanine and overlooking the iconic Clock Tower is BLT Prime by David Burke, the hotel’s signature restaurant featuring two exclusive dining rooms ideal for private parties and gatherings.

Silicon Valley Fashion Week Surprises

Google Newswire:

At any given moment, it seems there’s a fashion week happening somewhere in the world, be it Sydney, Istanbul, Dubai, Seoul, Moscow, Toronto, Copenhagen or Lagos (to name a few).

But the latest entrant to the list may be the most surprising: Silicon Valley.

Or, as the organizers style it: Silicon Valley Fashion Week?! The punctuation marks as part of the title are a self-aware nod to the incongruity of marrying the location, known for its allegiance to hoodies, Tevas and T-shirts, to a fashion event.

But that does not mean they are any less serious about its potential.

The three-day annual event, which finished its second turn over the weekend in San Francisco, bills itself as “part fashion show, part variety show, part trade show” and is open to the public, unlike the usual fashion industry events. This year, approximately 30 brands were featured, and tickets, at $20, sold out, with about 500 people attending each day.

It was staged by Betabrand, a San Francisco company that builds its clothing catalog by crowdsourcing design ideas and, after seeing which take off, crowdfunding the production of their prototypes to see which ones people will actually want to buy. Examples include a “mind the gap” blouse that stretches to fit the body’s contours; a dress that uses a trademarked reflective material; and “the softest khakis you’ll ever own,” which feature a drawstring for comfort.

The event exists at the nexus of Burning Man, wearable technology and the Maker Movement, home of inventors, designers and other do-it-yourself types. Adobe, for example, (yes, the software company) organized a comedy sketch involving augmented reality in which the week’s organizer, Mustafa Khan, spoke to an animated character about his style choices; Pebble Smartwatch presented a Smarthole Hoodie, a standard hoodie design with sleeves that extend over the thumbs and have a movable panel around the wrist to make gaining access to the company’s device easier; Tinsel offered headphones that can be worn as a necklace; and Lust for Dusk sent crowns made with LED bulbs down the runway in the grip of drones.

Dilek Sezen, a brand that works with 3-D printing, presented a wide skirt made with strips of fabric interlaced in a gridlike pattern and a headpiece composed of spikes. When the model pointed a black light at the headpiece, it glowed purple, pink and blue.

Alison Lewis, who holds a design and technology master’s degree from Parsons School of Design in New York, showed three items: a lambskin leather handbag embedded with LED bulbs that can be rearranged in different patterns with an app; a T-shirt that does the same; and a dress with lights that undulate in time with the wearer’s heartbeat.

“Technology is a tool. It’s how we use it that’s really exciting,” she said. “We could have less clothing in our closets and have pieces that change and work with our moods and personalities on a daily basis.”

Ms. Lewis hasn’t had a chance to present her work in other fashion shows, and, so far, she hasn’t been able to mass-produce her items. (“Not yet, but keep an eye out,” she said.) She commended the fashion week as a place to experiment. “Why shouldn’t we be having fun and a good time?” she asked. “There’s a place for kitschiness and fun. There should be a lot of options within clothing and technology.”

She was not the only designer struggling with the challenge of actually manufacturing much of what she displayed. Mr. Khan, who produced the “week,” noted that audience members were potential consumers, but Christopher Lindland, Betabrand’s founder, acknowledged that the company could bulk-produce about 30 percent to 40 percent of what came down the runway.

However, as wearables increasingly enter mainstream fashion, with designers from Ralph Lauren to Zac Posen dipping their creative toes into technology, the idea of clothing patterns controlled by apps, of drone delivery, and of customization that allows — maybe even asks — its wearers to make a choice each and every day, seems less far-fetched and more like fashion’s possible future.

Which, unlikely as it may be, puts the Silicon Valley event on the style front line.

“Something like Burning Man has enormous impact on self-expression and costume,” Mr. Lindland said. Not to mention trickle-down on runways halfway across the country.

And, if he has his way, Silicon Valley Fashion Week may soon do the same.
