RUNWAY: Hi Raeden, Congratulations on the big month ahead! With The Host and The Last Exorcism: Part II in the Sci Fi and Horror genres, fashion probably wasn’t part of your role research. Tell us about your personal style.

RAEDEN: Thank you! My personal style can be described as kind of biker chic. My absolute favorite closet staple is a pair of high waisted black skinny jeans. I like anything that’s black and tight. I love studs, spikes, leather and boots. I’ll wear anything with a high waist whether it’s shorts, jeans or skirts. When it’s hot outside, I wear a lot of cropped tops.

RUNWAY: The Host is getting a lot of buzz from the novel, so there will probably be a big premiere. Are you excited to do the red carpet? Who are some of your favorite designers?

RAEDEN: I don’t follow high fashion all that much, but I really like Alexander McQueen. Kate Hudson’s dress at the Golden Globes this year was phenomenal. As for the premiere, I’ll probably be overwhelmed and really scared. Having a public image is new for me.

RUNWAY: We read that you live in Louisiana now. Do you have any fun (and appropriate :)) Mardi Gras stories? We’re sure there must be some interesting fashion.

RAEDEN: I had my first ever Mardi Gras experience this year and there was definitely a lot to take in. Of course, the most obvious fashion statement is beads, beads, beads. Probably the most interesting thing I saw was a man carrying an 8 foot long snake around his neck. I took pictures of him and talked with him…it was a pet he’d had for 18 years! He had the snake’s tail tucked into his pants pocket and the rest of it wrapped around his neck and arm like it was totally normal. That’s my kind of accessory.

RUNWAY: It can get hot down in Louisiana. What are some of your beauty must-haves?

RAEDEN: A new thing I’ve been trying, and really like, is GLAMGLOW Super-Mud. It’s a face mask that makes your skin look and feel absolutely amazing. I love face masks and it’s fun to try new ones. Another little thing I take with me everywhere is Buxom’s Big and Healthy Lip Stick in the shade Sydney. The color is perfect for any look and it feels tingly and cool when you apply it. I can’t leave the house without it.

RUNWAY: Do you have any other projects coming up?

RAEDEN: Yes, I just finished an MTV movie a couple months ago called Made 2: Ladies Man. I play a kind of trashy sorority girl named Sally. She makes some interesting fashion choices. I wore a hot pink velour suit with huge furry Snooki-esque boots as well as a multicolored leopard print dress. It will definitely be one to watch for a laugh.
