John Galliano is known for his romantic and whimsical designs, and the spring/summer 2010 shoe collection is no different. However, these shoes lean heavily into whimsical territory, bordering on costume-y. The sky high platform is “in” now, but when they get too high the shoe becomes unrealistic for regular wear and a bit silly looking.

Galliano was inspired by “old Hollywood glamour” for this collection and is reflected in the pink polka dot lace, silk bows, and feather details that adorned the shoes. The heels are a string of pearls and many of the shoes had dangling pearl charms or draping strands of pearls.

This is a must add to your shoe collection, don’y miss out this season!
