2015 SAG Awards: Fashion Round-Up

The 21st annual SAG Awards took place on January 25th and the stars shined on the red carpet in an array of colors and styles. Nominee Keira Knightley was among the best dressed in a beautiful plum Erdem maternity dress that accentuated her mother-to-be glow. Co-stars of a not-yet-titled film, Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara wowed in curve-hugging dresses. Vergara accessorized her sexy red dress with her own jewelry line by Kay Jewelers, while Witherspoon wore a custom Giorgio Armani white one-shoulder dress. Also in white was another of Sofia Vergara’s co-stars, Modern Family’s Ariel Winter was a voluptuous bombshell in a Zac Posen gown.

 

Birdman star and winner for Best Ensemble Cast, Emma Stone wins for most fashion forward of the night. Stone’s Dior Couture look featured a blazer over a sheer gown with a train that tripped co-star Naomi Watts when the Birdman cast went to accept their award.

 

Julianne Moore’s green beaded Givenchy gown stunned on the red carpet, flooding social media with comments as soon as she appeared. Also stunning viewers was Lupita Nyong’o in a vibrant multi-colored Elie Saab number. Other female-fashion highlights were Jennifer Aniston in gold, Julia Roberts in a black pantsuit, and Claire Danes in Marc Jacobs.

 

As for the men, Matthew McConaughey wore a dashing blue suit jacket, taking a cue from former co-star Jared Leto’s Critics Choice Awards ensemble. Leto went back to traditional black for the SAGs, but added pink socks and boutonniere to make the look pop. Lead Actor winner, Eddie Redmayne looked dapper in a double-breasted Prada suit.
