Law Abiding Citizen Movie Review

The 411:When a home invasion robbery turns deadly, the lone survivor will stop at nothing to avenge his lost loved ones in Law Abiding Citizen, an explosive examination of blind justice from the director of The Italian Job.

The Good: This will be the movie of the year. Up to this point, it’s the best movie that I have seen all year in its own category of an action/thriller with a little bit of comedy added in for good measure. This movie will keep you in your seat at all times. The great thing about Law Abiding Citizen is that it’s not predictable at all and when you think you know what’s going to happen, you find out that in reality you have no idea! Then, you are taken back to square one until the end of the movie when the puzzle is solved.

The Bad: This is one of the few movies that I can actually say that I have no complaints about. It was made the right way from start to finish. If you walk out of this movie not satisfied that you got what you signed up for, we’d be really surprised!

The Last Word: Jamie Foxx is in a take no prisoners position. His job matters most and wants to become the DA and he doesn’t care what deal he needs to do to make that ensure it happens. Gerard Butler is a take no prisoner do it yourself Dad and husband that wants revenge. He’ll do what he has to do to make sure that happens.

Theater, DVD, or Cable in a few years: Theater or bust!
